Best Gluten Free Cinnamon Donuts

Updated: Oct 26, 2021

Gluten free, Dairy-free and Nut-free, healthy Cinnamon Donuts with sprouted flour. Tasty treats you never want to put down.

Hello! Today I made cinnamon doughnuts. I have been making this recipe many times. However, I have never made it this good before.

Inspiration:

Glutenfreepalate is a great website I used to help me make these scrumptious doughnuts. However, instead of using glutenfree blend, I used sprouted brown rice flour. I also doubled the recipe to produce more doughnuts. I also made it with diary free milk using Oatley milk. Very good brand!

Important equipment:

  1. Doughnut pan in order to make your doughnut shape.

  2. Hand mixer or stationary mixer to make your batter smooth.

  3. Piping bags or two big spoons to evenly distribute the batter in different sections.

Cook time: 12-15 mins Prep time: 45 mins Quantity: 18-20 doughnuts

I N G R E D I E N T S:

  • 2 cups brown rice flour

  • 2/3 cups of brown sugar

  • 2 teaspoons of grounded cinnamon

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 2 teaspoons of baking powder

  • 2 large eggs

  • 2 teaspoons vanilla

  • 1/2 cup + 4 tablespoons of avocado oil

  • 1/2 cup + 4 tablespoons of diary free milk

  • 2 teaspoons of white vinegar

G A R N I S H:

  • 1 1/2 teaspoons of cinnamon

  • 2 teaspoons of brown sugar

*If this amount of cinnamon and sugar garnish does not cover all your doughnuts. Then can always double the recipe.*

D I R E C T I O N S:

1. Take a large bowl and add flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and grounded cinnamon. Whisk thoroughly.

2. Set your dry mixture aside.

3. Take a smaller bowl and add eggs and vanilla. Beat thoroughly. Then add avocado oil and diary free milk. Beat until well combined.

4. Take the dry ingredients bowl and carefully add 1/3 of the wet mixture at a time into the dry ingredients bowl. Then, beat whole batter one last time.

5. Get your doughnut pan and grease with a nonstick cooking spray or avocado oil.

6. Take your batter and put it in a piping bag or use two spoons to easily distribute the batter in each doughnut shape.

7. Preheat your oven to 425°F. Cook the doughnuts for 12- 15 minutes. If they are done before that, feel free to take it. You don' t want them to burn.

8. Once out of the oven, immediately spread your garnish on each doughnut so it sticks properly. It is best when you eat your doughnut warm.

S T O R A G E:

*Put your doughnuts in a big glass or plastic container. Don' t keep them in the fridge.*
