Raising Food Allergy Awareness
I started Baking For My Bro because my brother has food allergies, and I wanted him to have treats that are actually safe and good. Every recipe here is tested in our kitchen (sometimes a LOT of times 😅). Apart from baking, I’ve given seminar at school and volunteer with the Food Allergy Fund, including their #1in13 campaign. Food allergies affect 1 in every 13 kids, so the more people understand them, the safer everyone is. Thanks for baking with me!

2024-2026
Volunteered with the Food Allergy Fund for three Summers and helped with marketing and building database of potential donors. Also, participated in #1in13 campaign started by Food Allergy Fund and created a video about my brother’s food allergies that became the highest-viewed post in FAF’s national social media campaign.
2026
In the Summer of my senior year, I sent emails to my school's administrators, seeking to promote more inclusion for food allergy students, which led to the opportunity for me to speak at my school’s annual health webinar. There, I shared resources for how parents and teachers can empower kids with food allergies. I discussed the emotional side that kids face in social settings- having watched my brother experiencing them- providing ways to handle those situations. Please view the video below:
